PBH - KTM: Flying at the roof of the world.
Possibly the most spectacular window seat flight I’ve ever taken. Rising from the Paro valley you’re almost immediately greeted by the beauty of the Himalayas. Valley after valley give way to the sublime breathtaking white ridges of the mountains. The flight passes very close to Everest (fourth picture) and at an altitude only a few thousand feet above it’s peak. Shortly after we descend through the early morning mist of the Kathmandu valley. I’ve been here before, almost twenty years ago, and I’m excited and anxious to see what’s changed.
